Beautiful ship and friendly staff. The entertainment was acceptable, but rather limited, with few activities offered during the day and on sea days. The excursions were too expensive, especially for a family. There was plenty of food, but not as much variety as in previous years, and the options were often repetitive.
Overall, the organization was good, although a few aspects could be improved: Each year, at least some of the ports of call could be diversified. They are repeated too often, which makes guests less inclined to book the tour again. The theatrical entertainment is very interesting, but the production side could be partly diversified, with a little less Broadway-style influence. As for the restaurants, the use of sauces could be reduced in favor of more olive oil, tomato, and Parmesan — in other words, more Italian flavors and fewer French-influenced ones. Overall, however, the dining experience was fine. The medical service was poor. I cannot comment on the professional skills, as I do not know, but the reception and approach were aggressive and arrogant.
Fantastic as always
Rating: 8/10 – A well-structured cruise for a 15-day itinerary. The assistance provided to the Italian group was excellent, thanks to the presence of Erika, a delightful person who was attentive to every need. However, the excursion booking process and the actual operation of the excursions require significant improvement. Two excursions that had been booked and paid for at the end of 2025 were not carried out, without adequate and timely communication at the beginning of the cruise. Based on my long-standing experience with MSC, it seems clear to me that the more expensive excursions are offered but often not actually operated. For example, the excursion booked for Mustique, at a discounted price of €169, was cancelled. On board, it is also not easy to find availability to book excursions locally.
I have no complaints about the company; all the staff and crew are extremely professional and kind.
