An appropriate destination for a first cruise experience.
The destinations were beautiful and the shuttle service was good.
Marseille, apart from the Christmas markets and the hilltop church, is a rather dull destination. Civitavecchia is pleasant, but there is not much to visit unless you purchase ship-organised excursions to Rome, which are very expensive, or travel independently to Rome, which is also costly and more challenging when travelling with children.
Interesting destinations.
Unfortunately, the new ships always call at the same ports. In order to see the ship, we had to visit the same ports repeatedly — some variety would be appreciated!
