Price for children R 5 754,42 The beauty and grace of Upper Normandy immortalized in many masterpieces by one of its most famous inhabitants, Monet, await you on this day away from the ship. Start with a two-hour drive to Giverny, also known as Monet's village. The artist lived there from 1883 until his death and immortalized the natural beauty of the place in his paintings. Once you reach the village you will feel like you are entering one of his paintings. You will visit the artist's house, an explosion of colors both outside and inside and which overlooks a large vegetable garden. Admire the gardens that inspired his unique ability to paint nature, the Japanese bridge and the water lilies, all elements found in his art. Afterwards, an hour and a half of free time allows you to discover this timeless village on your own, stopping at the places that interest you most or looking for a restaurant to have lunch. The day will then continue towards Rouen which you will reach after a bus journey of about an hour. The ancient wooden houses, the Gros Horloge, the Gothic cathedral in stained glass but also the market and the numerous shops selling typical products are the setting for the guided walk of about an hour in the capital of Normandy. And before returning to Le Havre and the port, enjoy an hour of free time to discover Rouen at a more relaxed pace.

Limited number of Italian-speaking guides, therefore if an Italian-speaking guide is not available, the guided tour will take place in French. This excursion includes walking on cobblestone and uneven terrain and is not suitable for guests with walking difficulties. in case of stopovers falling on Monday morning, the visit to the Cathedral will be limited to its exterior. To visit places of worship, appropriate clothing is required. Some shops are closed on Sundays, Mondays and public holidays. French law requires every passenger to occupy a seat on the coach, including children aged between 0 and 3 years. If you are traveling with children of this age, please contact the Onboard Excursions Office at least 48 hours before your excursion to request a child seat for the coach and to receive further information.
