Saint Denis
Saint Denis is a city on Reunion Island, near Madagascar and Mauritius in the Indian Ocean. It was established between XVII and XVIII Century and is currently a French overseas department. The city offers incomparable landscapes and postcard sunsets, the photography enthusiasts will fall in love with it. Saint Denis Cathedral is a famous catholic church built in Romanic style and dated back to XIX Century. It has been a historical monument of France since 70’s. From the port of Saint Denis it is possible to embark on the cruises to the Mauritius, Madagascar and Seychelles to visit wonderful places and get in direct contact with a wild and lush nature.
Saint Denis is a beautiful place where you can enjoy a lush nature and practice open-air sports, such as canyoning, for incomparable adventures. You cannot miss out the cannons at Les Barachois near the coast, a monument dedicated to Roland Garros, a hero from World War I.
