Professionally sound, even though, compared with previous cruises, it has significantly reduced what used to be one of the company’s strengths (shore assistance and, above all, table service at lunch or dinner; the absence of tablecloths made it feel like a company cafeteria).
I find that the quality has declined.
There are ups and downs; sometimes everything goes well, sometimes there are a few issues, but overall the value for money is excellent.
A large floating hotel.
I have taken many cruises over the past 20 years and have noticed a significant decline in Costa Cruises.
The quality of Costa’s service is in constant decline. The bad practice of not using tablecloths at the tables continues. The ship was presented as having recently undergone a refit, but in reality it had many issues: non-functioning elevators, toilet flush systems emitting unpleasant odors, rust and broken pins in the balcony partitions, etc.
