Ultramarine: the ship for extreme expeditions

Quark Ultramarine is the most recent of the polar expedition ships in the Quark Expedition fleet, a leading company in the sector since 1991. Built at the Croatian shipyard Brodosplit, it entered service in August 2022 with a 17-day inaugural cruise that crossed the Northwest Passage to Greenland.

Discover the common areas of the Ultramarine ship

Capable of accommodating just under 200 passengers, it was designed to take polar explorations to a new level wrapped in an elegant and refined climate. The on-board equipment includes a fleet of zodiacs for landing and explorations and two twin-engine helicopters for exclusive excursions.

Two restaurants, a theater, a panoramic lounge positioned at the bow, a polar boutique, a wellness area complete with gym, SPA and sauna and a ready room where you can prepare for landing via zodiac complete the set of common areas on board.

The Ultramarine cabins

The ship boasts a total of 103 cabins, all with a private balcony overlooking the sea, divided into nine categories. The most exclusive of these is the Ultra Suite, a 53-square-meter accommodation that houses a bedroom with a Queen Size mattress, a living area with a dining room separate from the living room, a large entrance and two bathrooms, one of which with a bathtub and shower.
