Excursion Life & culture tour at Bolungarvík

Experience Westford's nature, known to be breathtaking and beautiful. Start from the harbor of Bolungarvík exploring the Ósvör museum; an authentic, refurbished fishing station that lies just off the Arctic circle, depicting the life of fishing crews through the ages. At the museum you get a taste of Icelandic Brennivín, dry fish and shark an experience in itself!

From there we head to the towns historic church where we will attend a live music act from a young local artist followed by historic accounts and folktales. End the tour near the harbor at Einarshús coffee house, the house of sorrow & happiness. Enjoy some local pastery and coffee before returning back to the ship.
