Excursion Hike to sugar summit tour at Alesund

After a brief sightseeing drive through Ålesund commence your hike to the Sukkertoppen, Sugar Summit, located on the island of Hessa. This hike takes you on a well-maintained trail through a forested area which eventually opens up to some of the most amazing and diverse landscape you can find. At the summit of 314 m revel in the magnificent panoramic view of Art Nouveau City of Ålesund, the surrounding mountains, archipelago and the fjord.

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of walking for approximately 4 km (2.5 miles) with an elevation gain of 250 meters, and is on a dirt and gravel path, with uneven terrain, boulders and some consistent inclines. This tour is only suitable for guests in good physical conditions. It is recommended to dress in layered clothing and wear proper hiking boots/shoes. Visibility of sights may be affected in adverse weather conditions.
