Brisbane City Center

Embark on a delightful coach tour of Brisbane and its surrounding areas, where the city’s country-like charm harmonizes with urban vitality. As the capital of Queensland, Brisbane serves as a historic and cultural hub, a major seaport, and the seat of government. With a population exceeding 1.5 million, it ranks as Australia’s third-largest city, having proudly hosted the World Expo 1988 and the Goodwill Games in 2001.

Mt. Coot-tha Lookout

Brisbane enjoys a semi-tropical climate, enhanced by beautifully landscaped gardens filled with jacarandas, flame trees, and bougainvilleas. Your tour will showcase iconic landmarks such as Parliament House, the Treasury Building, Customs House, the Cultural Centre, and the magnificent Botanical Gardens. The city’s modern skyline features gleaming glass towers and vibrant shopping districts, all set against the backdrop of the meandering Brisbane River and lush inner-city parks.

Venture beyond the urban landscape as your coach climbs to Mt. Coot-tha lookout, where you’ll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the city. This stop provides the perfect opportunity to capture stunning photos of Brisbane's skyline and picturesque suburbs.

QAGOMA the Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art, Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

Next, you’ll visit QAGOMA, the Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art, home to over 17,000 works of art, showcasing both historical and contemporary exhibitions. Enjoy some free time to explore this cultural treasure before continuing your adventure at the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, the world's first and largest koala sanctuary, featuring over 130 koalas alongside free-roaming kangaroos and wallabies in beautiful natural settings.

Here, you'll have a special opportunity for a close encounter with a koala and a knowledgeable handler, allowing you to take memorable photos and ask questions about these amazing animals (photo opportunity with the koala at your own expense). You might also catch a sheepdog trial (subject to schedule) and see other unique Australian wildlife, including the platypus, Tasmanian devil, emu, wombat, dingo, and echidna.

This tour promises a rich blend of culture, nature, and unforgettable experiences before concluding at the airport.
