Bandia Countryside and Baobab Forest

Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 1.5-hour drive through the lovely, diverse Bandia countryside and Sindia's Baobab Forest en route to the Bandia National Game Park.

Upon arrival, board an all-terrain vehicle for a panoramic photo safari. Along the way, observe the abundant wildlife, including monkeys, giraffes, gazelles, antelopes, and warthogs in their natural habitat.

Lunch and Serer Village

Next, proceed for a Senegalese lunch at the lodge in the park's Bandia restaurant. After lunch, re-board your coach and continue on to the native Serer Village, home to one of the most important ethic groups in Senegal. Here, meet the chief and local leaders, and be welcomed by the inhabitants in the purest tradition of Senegalese hospitality. Following your visit, re-board your coach and commence the approximately 1.5-hour drive back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of off-road driving and walking, at times over uneven surfaces and inclines, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and off-road vehicles. This tour is not suitable for pregnant guests, guests with neck or back problems, guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Lightweight, comfortable clothing, flat, closed-toe walking shoes and sun protection are recommended. Guests must be at least four (4) years old to participate on this tour.
