Depart the pier for the approximately 1.30-hour scenic drive through the beautiful countryside en route to Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that symbolises the region with its charming little whitewashed Trulli houses.

Upon arrival, take a walk through the narrow streets of the town centre, then across the delightful districts of Monti and Aia Piccola to learn about the ancient architecture of these unique houses the ancient symbols and cute pinnacles on their cone-shaped roofs.

Following your walking tour of Alberobello, some free time is available for you to explore the narrow streets and browse the souvenir shops at your leisure.

Next, re-board your coach and drive to one of the beautiful country houses nearby Alberobello to enjoy a delicious buffet with local specialties before going back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of walking over uneven and cobblestone surfaces, with some steps to negotiate, and is not recommended for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Inclined surfaces and steps must be negotiated to visit all of the souvenir shops, and take in the best views over Alberobello. Tour groups are not permitted inside the church during services on Sundays, church holidays and during weddings. On those days, only outside visits will be offered. Conservative dress is required when visiting sacred sites. Clothing should cover the shoulders and knees; shorts and tank-tops are not permitted. Tour participation is limited; reserve this well in advance to avoid disappointment.
